JRA Ballast Advisory Systems (BAS) "Taking floating structure stability management to the next step" The "Ballast Advisory System" (BAS) is an exciting, unique and exclusive JRA software program that automatically interprets various "conditions" onboard an offshore floating structure or ship to determine if a "fault" event has occurred based on predetermined limits. If the software detects a fault event, then the software automatically informs the user of various embedded solution options to either correct or mitigate the fault. The BAS works normally in conjunction with the Load Management System as an input provider but can also work with the on-board Vessel Management System.
